IMPALA

The Southern Impala are the champions of the
high jump.  When they jump they almost seem
to be in low-motion.  They have excellent eyesight
and a great sense of smell which enable them
to detect a hunter very quickly.

This was a free hand shot through thick brush
with the animal running.  It was an exceptional
hard shot at 70 yards with my 300 Weatherby.
This will be a head and shouolder mount.

.

You can see how elegant the horns are at 23
inches and how interesting the facial coloring
is of this graceful animal.
