BUSH DUIKER

The Southern Bush Duiker was the first animal
that I was able to harvest on my first trip to
Zimbabwe South Africa in 1990.  Susan and I
along with guide Colin Welensky were in a
Toyota 4x4 driving deep into the African bush
when we spotted the Bush Duiker deep the
brush seen above.  It actual took me 15 minutes
to locate the Duiker through my scope even at
a distance of 30 yards.  Once I was able to locate
the animal it was an easy shot with my 300
Weatherby Magnum.

This was beautiful little animal that has a good
sense of smell and hearing.  It has surprisingly
good endurance too.  It moves rapidly and
makes a difficult target through the brush.

This was to be a life Size Mount that will look
beautiful for all to enjoy.
